What is the life expectancy of a typical Phalocyanine CD-R?
Hrm, not a good question...
Do you mean a typical CMC made Phthalocyanine CD-R? if so, what grade/brand? Or what about Ritek? If so, where was it made (which plant) or which brand? Or maybe a Kodak Phthalocyanine CD-R? or maybe Mitsui's? new stock or old stock. Can't forget Prodisc either...
Too many variations! There is no such thing as "typical" unfortunatly. Who makes the disc, and how it is made is much more important then the dye type that is used.
Princo and Taiyo Yuden both use Cyanine as a dye type... VERY different results! Prodisc and DST both use Pthalocyanine as a dye type... again very different results!.
