My TDK burner seems awkward......
I can load discs, and the LED lights. I can hear the disc STARTING to rotate. But then it just stops rotating.
And the result of this is that Windows can't find any data on any of my discs. (Audio, Data, CD-R's, CD-RW's, burned discs)
All of this happened after I by MISTAKE loaded a DVD CD in the TDK drive.
It has worked fine before all this.

Could it have something to do with the firmware? (which I already have tried to flash several times without any difference)

I am running Win XP Pro by the way.
And I didn't do anything to my hardware when this happened.
But as I said, the hardware bit of the burner "seems" to work like it should.
Gimme tips!
