I notice a serious lack of opinions on the preferred disc, I guess that's because so few people actually have DVD burners (myself included). However, based on price I would prefer if the DVD-R won the war. Besides, wouldn't it be weird if we had CD-Rs and DVD+Rs??? actually, if DVD-R doesn't win the war, I think it would be cool if DVD-RAM came back out of nowehere and won LOL! But seriously, the XBox supports DVD-R, all the new MACs come with DVD-R burners. Playstation 2 supports DVD-Rs. Why would anybody want to shell out more money for a slightly less compatable media? However, I also know that logic doesn't make the decisions often in these cases, so I too will wait for a visible victor in the DVD race. I Don't want to shell out extra for one the supports both formats though.
