i have Ricoh Mp7083A-DP
My Burner can't write on 8X Cdr-w Discs no matter if they new or not when i try to burn on Cdrw On 8X Speed the burner sounds like something scratching maybe i need to get Firmware update ? but there is no update for me im 1.20 orginal.
is there a way to overclock this burner ?

Try other brands, but from the behaviour your drive is broken...

What do you mean try other brands ? well i did try to burn those cdr-w's on yamaha's Burners And LG and they work
only in my burner they doesn't work
but my burner burn Great CDR Cd's he had problems only with CDRW

is there a way to O/C it ?

Hi ZetLAW
What John says is try other brands of CDRW CD's not other brands of Writers and also I would suggest that you make sure they are 8x Certified or even try the Ricoh 10x !!!
