Does anyone know of a site for MDs that works like this one - help, hacks, etc.?

MD= Sony's Mini-Disc tecnology, invented by them in 1992 as you'll see in the link .

The really little CD's, L.A. You might have seen 'em before in your travels

    I was just wondering if MD's Should have been MB's and if rblake had made a mistake in his typing (Like I do sometimes) but obviously not but thanks for the Info anyway Mate !!!

    I like CD's much better, so I haven't really got into MD yet.

    Yes I did mean MiniDisc and I agree that CDs are better for most things.

    However, MDs are really convenient for digital quality walkman-type use and would be very handy (i.e. small) data "transport" media.

    The problem is that there are all kinds of security measures to prevent recording from them once you've got the tracks on.

    I just wondered if anybody knew of any site to help in this.

    Yeah like watermarking etc. To bad it's not as easy to overcome, like with CD drives

    Hi,

    Thing is I really don't want to rip off any copyrighted audio. What I'm trying to do is to take some old cassettes onto CD so that I can bin the cassettes once and for all.

    The only cassette kit I have is a mini system that will record (and very well too) cassette to MD but the unit has no "line out" !!!

    Oh well, too bad.
