Hey,

I have a new asus 24/10/40 and it works perfecly, unless I make a copy cd to cd. I have a data cd and when i make a copy of it using nero, it detects that there are copyritghts! and then when its over in windows the of the cd apear and then it disapear to say that the cd have nothing on it!!! however, the data cd work perfecly in my other system... i think that the asus is trying to block because of the copyright i dont know... strange because its just a cd with drivers and demos...

Hi Philgag
Try copying the files into a folder on your hard-drive and then try to burn them on a CDR from the folder with Nero !
I hope this Helps !

You may have a corrupt file on the CD and copying it to the hardrive will tell you which file is corrupt as it will not be able to copy it from the cd then you can copy the ones which are not corrupt. Or you could have a little scratch on the cd !

i suspect that the cd may have been created by packet writing software such as incd or directcd. there are udf readers available for these cds to allow you to read them. i'm not sure because i never use packet writing for any reason.
