Yeap, for another time, LiteOn keeps pushing the limits and preparing to release new recorder with 52x writing, 32x re-writing and 52x reading speeds. The LTR-52325S (a possibly codename) should apear around September making the LTR-48125W and LTR-48246S users some un-happy

Maybe its time for LiteOn to enter DVD recording?

And with TDK now using the Lite-on inside I would like to bet that is why they have not announced they are making a 48x Writer to come out with a 52x just after Lite-on release theirs !

TDK uses LiteOn drives so i assume they will announce it in the next few months. With so many recorders from LiteOn this year, I am not so sure other manufacturers can keep up...

In past new models came out every 6 months, now every two months!

Thats the thing i LOVE about Liteon. They make one of the best burners on the market (and one of the few that truelly do EFM right), and yet their pricing is excellent. Talk about having your cake and eating it too.

Hi ghingy
Why be a speed chaser why don't you wait for the Yamaha CRW-FI and change to a being a Quality chaser. There will be hardly any difference in the speed between the 44x Yamaha and the 52x Lite-on but Quality that is a different world.

Yes writing quality is not that something LiteOn seems to care about much

hi there Laffin,
are you saying that the Yamaha 44/24/44 is actually better than a LiteOn 52/32/52? What brings you to say that?
anyway, when do you reckon the CRW-F1 will arrive in the UK?

Darren
