I want to use nero to combine an image such as an iso and a file to burn a cd, how can I do it?

I tried burning the image first and adding the file using multisession, but that seemed to create read problems!

Thanks a lot.

I dunno if that's even possible at all. No software I know is able to burn ISOs that have something added to them.

My suggestion would be: If the ISO has no special info, like El-Torrito or subchannel data, just unpack it to a folder on your HD and then do anything you want with it. Afterwards burn like a normal folder.

A really good prog for doing this would be the Daemon tools.

It is possible pal!!!

but u will have to extract the .iso file and then add whatever u want to add.

download iso buster from:
http://users.pandora.be/smart.projects/start2.htm

iso buster is an disk image handler which will help you exctract the files in it. Then u can add the files u wish to add and write the cd.

That should help!!!

Superstar

Are you burning multi-session images now with WinIso or multi-session Iso Compilations on the same Cd?

Or do you manipulate the ISO and then add that as a multi-session?

Should one then have Nero, CloneCd and WinIso (or IsoBuster) in ones Cd burning toolbox?

I manipulate the iso image and burn a new cd because I dont have the original cd.

Besides, I dont even know if the original cd is finalized or not!

But I still do not know if the same can be done with other images such as bin or ccd?

Never mind if your original disk isnt Finalized, but you sure can finalize an bin file or for that matter any other disk image while writing it. Try using cdrwin as it has all the options in the front of your eyes.

Try this,
select cdrwin to burn bin file of yours and select the "close disk/finalise disk" option which will be available lower on the screen and write!

Besides if you have already writen the disk and you want to close it then simply select "backup disk" option in cdrwin and select "close existing disk" option and leave the rest to cdrwin.

That Should Help!!!
