i've just finished the installation of win xp and my cd writing software. i'm using winoncd. the problem that occurs ist that everytime i launch winoncd an error window pops up that says:

"error accessing the scsi/ide-bus
no scsi host adapter found"

(i don't know if this is the exact wording, since i'm using the german version)
why does this occur? isn't that strange since i really didn't change anything about my hardware. the crw4416e worked fine under windows 98 . could it be that it is adriver problem?or just a configuration problem

If I were you I would get the latest Windows XP IDE drivers for your motherboard from your motherboard manufacturers website. If you are not sure where to get them from let me know what your motherboard is and I will tell you where they are.
