We are seeing a problem with the HP8200 model, specificly the USB drive.
For a very few, simply requesting a patch from our Tech support team at
techsupport4@nero.com will suffice, as a few models have a different ID STRING than the rest, and this patch will resolve the issue.
However, most we are finding seem to be caused by a new USB Bridge being used in the HP8200 USB external chassis. Our Engineers in Germany have been attempting to obtain one of these new models with the different USB Bridge for 2 months now, with no succes. As I have.
If anyone knows where we can purchase this model, please let me know ASAP at
techsupport4@nero.com. This would greatly, greatly be appreciated.
We do know that if you take the HP8200 out of the USB external chassis, and connect to your computer as an Intnernal IDE drive, there are no problems. SO the issue is not with drive, but the USB Bridge in the external chassis.
We continue our search for an HP8200 USB drive.
