I used Nero 5572 to burn two copeis separately of a CD about 578MB, one with OWSP on and one off. It's so weir that I got the same burning time no matter the OWSP is on(burns at 24x) or off(burns at 16x on my particular 24x certified media). Could anybody explain why this happen??

I checked the firmware, it's 1.0b and i believed that it's the latest. My 3200E is manufactured in January, 2002.
