Just read the review on PleXWriter PX-W40120A, and found the part on Writing Quality Tests a little puzzling.

Noticed how cdr media written at 32x have really low C1 error rate, compared to 20x. Can someone enlighten me on how that can happen?
I've always thought that higher writing speeds generally introduce higher error rates.

Thanks.

That depends upon the media condition and the writing strategy which each manufacturer uses
