Can frequent use of cd r's damage a normal cd player? I have an older Sony cd player.

Apparently, if you use your CD player to frequently play VCDs, it can wear it out within a year.

i think he talking about a cd player (such as a walkman or part of those boombox sets) rather than well, i dont know what your talking about w/ VCD's ?

i do remember one mp3 portable cd player that had a video out...
