Hi Everyone

Any opinions/comments/reviews/tests etc yet on the new

Plextor Powerrec-ii px-w2410tu external usb 2.0 Drive ?

I am from South Africa, stock is not in yet on this one, proabably
early next year. If it's gonna be worth the wait then I'll wait, otherwise, I wanna go for the 16/10/40 which reportedly

has no problems with all current copy protections
It's IDE though so that's why i'm stuck between the two ?
2410 USB2 yes no ? price is not an issue

The 24/10/40U is exactly the same drive as the24/10/40A, but an external version that has its own powersupply and has to be connected to a USB 2.0 controller for optimum performance.
There are PCI USB 2.0 adapters available: just click it in a PCI slot connect the recorder to it and burn.
You can do without a USB 2.0 adapter, but connected to a older USB 1.1 adapter the max. write speed is 4x.
