I don't know if I trust that quote. There's no hard proof evidence that Plextor actually said that. I emailed Plextor sales about it. Here is the email:

I read a quote from Plextor at www.cdrinfo.com
that Plextor will no longer
be making drives with a SCSI interface. Is this true?
They didn't say either way which would lead me to believe that the quote is false.
