hi, i have a cd rewritable in my computer yamaha 8x8x24 and i want to ask what kind of media cd should i use to write audio cd's?
audio cd's or data cd's? i ask that because data cd's are much chepper. Will i loose the quality of sound using data cd's?

I think they are the same really . except maybe standalone CD music recorders might only be able to use the music CDRs .

if you want to get the best sound from your original CD then you need DA(Digital Audio) CD, of course you can use either CDR or DA to record music, but the CDR not as good as DA, especially when you want to listen to Hi/Fi stereo and surround sound, then you will know the diff the two, you can't record the DA CD media from your CDR drive from computer, you need the Recorder for DJ record, of course the DA CD it more expensive than CDR media.

That's BULL. The recorders in studio's use the same cd-r's as in the computers. I know a lot of people say my cd's recorded in a consumer recorder sound better. This is physilogial or due to recoding. So
A good burning program (no Easy Cd Creator) and any good disc will give you the same result.

So now about the good disc.
Well I could recommend the higher class studio cd-r's like BASF CD-R MASTER. But then again most normal cd-r's ( not the cheap ones) do not have many more errors as these.
What I can recommend is Mitsui Silver because of a little bit better compatibility with some devices which don't like cd-r's very much.
