i have a lite on 12/10/2b burner, what is a good brand of cdr to usethat is reliable

Taiyo Yuden, Mitsui, Kodak, Ricoh, the usual suspects...

On the cheaper end, a disc which is reliable, cheap and works well in your writer is Datasafe, these are made by Princo and work well with your model of LiteOn. I have noticed that your model of drive doesn't like some Ritek discs, which is a bind as these are most of the cheaper discs out there. From that I'd be hesitant to recommend Taiyo Yuden to be honest as the dye type is very similar.
