As a proud father, I became casually interested in photography... Am I good at it?  Probably just slightly above average... The compliments I receive on my photos are from other people that primarily use point and shoot cameras.  For the better part of a year I was making myself ready for DSLR with a FujiFilm FinePix S9100 (a damn good bridge/super zoom camera).  As I became more familiar with it, I found myself wanting more... I found it!

The Olympus EVOLT E-510! 

I went with the two lens kit to basically give me the equivalent of the range the Fuji S9100 gave me (minus SuperMacro that I found myself not using much anyway).  I have only snapped a couple dozen pics tonight to get a feel for it, but those few pics impressed the hell out of me.  If you are interested in going DSLR, check out the reviews at dpreview.com and cameralabs.com...
