As a proud father, I became casually interested in photography... Am I good at it?  Probably just slightly above average... The compliments I receive on my photos are from other people that primarily use point and shoot cameras.  For the better part of a year I was making myself ready for DSLR with a FujiFilm FinePix S9100 (a damn good bridge/super zoom camera).  As I became more familiar with it, I found myself wanting more... I found it!

The Olympus EVOLT E-510

I went with the two lens kit to basically give me the equivalent of the range the Fuji S9100 gave me (minus SuperMacro that I found myself not using much anyway).  I have only snapped a couple dozen pics tonight to get a feel for it, but those few pics impressed the hell out of me.  If you are interested in going DSLR, check out the reviews at dpreview.com and cameralabs.com... Another helpful site gives you tips on customizing your Olympus DSLR (410/500/510).

Well, off to bed... Tomorrow I will be snapping photos with the Oly!
