I have a crazy problem and I searched all over the net and could not find my answer......About 4 months ago I changed a burn setting from 8x to 4x in gearpro mastering...In doing so it locked all of my other burn settings(cd as well) to 4x for any burning program I use......Gearpro only locked Memorex DVD+-RAM 525G v1 G.01 and not my other one which is a PIONEER DVD-RW  DVR-112D 1.21.....I know the issue is firmware but I checked every where for the G.01 firmware for this memorex dvd burner, and the burner is less then 5 months old so I am not ready to get throw it away unless I have too..........How can I rest the burn settings in this burner, or rest the firmware? My computer has been reformatted, but this seems not to work either.......
