How to recover quick erased DVD RAM - 5/8/2006 1:48:43 PM

I used a DVD RAM in my camcorder and had it in my DVD RAM R/W drive in my PC.
Unfortunately I used the quick erase option in Nero 6 to erase the data. I meant to erase the data on a disk in my other CD drive in my PC but accidentally erased all the movies I taped on my DVD RAM.

When I put the DVD RAM into my PC it does not recognize the file format and when I put it back in my camcorder it comes up with the message disk not formated. Do you want to format the disk?

Does anybody know how to recover the data on my DVD RAM? I understand that the data is not completely gone just the index.

Never used it, but a program like O&O Softwares Disk Recovery might help you.... Also, IsoBuster might be worth a shot.

Yes, I have used Bad Copy Pro before and it worked like a charm.

Thank you very much for your suggestions.
I found a test with Bad Copy Pro and I guess it does not work for quick erased DVDs.

I will look into the other 2 suggestions as well. Hopefully one of those will work.
