I'm presently running Nero 6 (v6.6.0.18) and I'm planning on replacing my Pioneer DVR-107D burner with an NEC ND-3550A.  What would be the best procedure for doing so?  Should I completely uninstall Nero first, and if so is simply going through "Add or Remove Programs" within Windows XP enough?  TIA

System Specs:

Windows XP Pro, SP2
Intel D865PERLK motherboard
1 GB PC3200 DDR RAM
WD 200GB ATA HD
ATI AIW 9600 Pro
Pioneer DVR-107D

Why unistalling Nero? Was it working only with the Pioneer?

No, I intend to use it with the NEC burner. I just didn't know if it would be better to uninstall Nero first then reinstall it once the burners are switched.   I didn't know if leaving it installed would leave any traces of the old burner in Nero.

No problem, as long as you don't have a "bundled" copy of Nero that came with your old drive.  As long as you have a licensed copy with key, then you don't have to remove it at all.
