Hello everyone... Sorry if this has been asked before.  I just bought a HP DVD Writer 840 and have a question about burning a avi file to a blank DVD disk.  Is it possible to do this?  I burned a movie file to a disk, which took about 2 hours, and when I put it in my DVD player I received a message to the effect of "Can't read TV."  Now this was my Playstion, so I thought maybe hte problem was I needed a newer DVD player.  I tried my computer and the movie did load, however their is no sound.  Can someone help me with these problems.  How can you burn a avi file to a blank disk so that both sound and video works properly. Thanks

For playing this file onto a standalone player it has the player to support DivX, and not only, it depends on the file. Otherwise you'll have to convert it in DVD-Video format.
