I have a mountain of data I need to backup.

Obviously, I want to use every single Kb of space on a 4.7gb DVD.

Is there such a programme which I can tell it the files I need backing up and it will arrange the files so that just the right amount of files are placed on the disc to cover the 4.7gb rather than myself randomly adding and removing files from the disc as im a few Mb over/under.

The ability to say I want 50gb of files writing and it'll do it automatically would be awesome but not essential.
Hope someone can make sense of that.
