Hello ppl i have been lurking for a while now and find it a very usefull and nice forum
So after some troubles and buying 4 burners later wanted to add my n00bish input here as well ;)
I have 2 basic systems and i have given them names :)
system1 : Speedy is my Amd 64 - 3500+ cpu on a Asus A8V deluxe mainbord with 2 x 200 GB sata seagate on the via raid and 1 x 250 Gb Samsung on the 378 promise sata raid controller port, I have installed 1 Gb pc4000 corsair memory, as DVD rom i have installed a Samsung TS-H352a
And as internal burner a LG GSA-4166B second burner installed is my old NEC 3500AG which i build in a external drive case (usb2 and firewire capable)
system2 : Bigboy is a amd XP 2500+ running  [email=0@2350Mhz]@2250Mhz[/email]  on a Asus A7N8X mainbord with 1x60 GB, 1 x120 Gb and 1x250 Gb ata drives, 1 Gb memory in this system i have as burner an BTC IM1008 DVD burner 
Furthermore is installed a Adaptec 2740 scsi card with Teac dvdrom, 4 X Teac burner, DAT tape drive, ZIP drive and a 2Gb Jazz.
