I have got Hiren Boot CD v 7.7 when I try to use it on my Dell Latitiude Laptop
D600,,,with Partition Commander utility, mouse can not move below the middle screen !!!!but when I use the same CD on a Desktop machine I have got no problem with a mouse's movement,,,,
I have got no problem with  CD V5.5 with mouse movement on my laptop as well.

Do you have the same OS on both machines?

Both Machine try to insatll form scratch (i.e. No OS has been installed)

I see, then do you have connected the mouse on PS2 port of the Desktop while in Laptop in USB?

With the laptop I have got USB mouse,,,,with IBM Desktops I have got many of them some of them USB mices while other are PS/2 mices.

As far as I remember I tried CD on PS/2 mouse,,,,I will try on USB mouse as well
