whts the difference between quick and full erase on programs such as nero or alcohol?

Quick Erase just erases header info and makes it possible for the remaining files to be written over and Full Erase completely Formats the disk but takes longer !!!

some times when i erase my dvd-rw it says it is not a format windows recognizes and stuff and I use alchol120% to erase it full/ format disc ???

Is this because the first case concerns packet writing, while the first normal recording?

disconcern the last ?? i had... but is it better to always to full erase format or quick?

Do a full erase only periodically, just to check the disc reliability.
