Think you have what it takes to guess the exact launch date of Windows Vista due to debut next year? If you think you can why not take part in an official Microsoft competition to an all-expenses-paid trip to the Windows Vista launch event or one of the nine Xbox 360 consoles up for grabs!... wow I hear you cry … anyway... The Official Contest is being held as part of Microsoft’s New Beta Experience program which is designed to help users like you and me up to date with the latest and hot of the press Vista & Office 12 news.

"As a member of the Beta Experience, you are one of the first to be informed of the new product features, long before the final version is released to the market," Microsoft says. Anyone over the age of 18 can take part however you must be a resident of one of the following countries Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Doesn't matter. By the time it's released we'll all say it took to long... and when we get it we'll wish they took more time to get it right... and some of us, like me, will wait until SP1a like I did with XP!
