They are usually rebadged BENQ drives !!!
Just do a search on our forum and you will find all you need to know about them as this has been asked many times !!!

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I was asking about the media not the drive itself. Sorry about any confusion.

No problem it was probably my fault anyway for not noticing that it was in the Media Section !!!
Well from what I have seen of them they could be made by CMC and if they are I would steer clear of them with the big problems people have had with them in the past !!!

I second that! They are almost for certain made by CMC, although one of CMC's better brands, I still would not recommend them!

Its a weird brand, one of the spindles I picked up was CMC when I did ATIP on them, but the other spindle came up on the ATIP as Mitsubishi Chemical Corp, and I can see the words Verbatim whited out on all of the CD-Rs of that spindle

yep, that has been known to happen with the newer K-Hypermedia spindles... I think it comes from the growing partnership that Mitsubishi Chemicals and CMC are making. Although since Mitsubishi is making so little CD-R media these days, you probably won't see too much of that once the current stock runs out.

I also would stay "far away" from this media...
