Ritek G05 seems to be bad media when it comes to durability, Fujifilm03 seems much better.

But Fujifilm03 (=Prodisc) in Ritek? I can´t believe it, don´t you mean Ridisc-media?

I have a Nec 3520.
Do you know if the Fujifilm03 is a good media ID and im not talking about the durability Im talking about the error correction and the write quality.

The PI are little higher at the beginning, but quality-score 97 is good.

Here some G05-scans:

G05 seems to be more worse.

Well I think I'll keep these blanks after all because it seem that Fujifilm03 is'nt that bad and actually better than G05 RITEK and I was pretty satisfied with G05 blanks.
Still it just does'nt make any sense why would a big manufacturer like RITEK let FUJIFILM manufacter there blanks. :/

Fujifilm03 is NOT manufactured by Fuji, it´s from Prodisc, one of Ritek´s biggest competitor.

Something about Ritek:

Damn it most of my movies and backups were burned on G03 G04 and G05 but not from newegg either way I dont think the fact where they I purchased them has anything to do with the quality of the media if they are branded as Riteks then they are most likely to get ruined after couple of months.
So you say that Fujifilm is better in a matter of durability?

Ritek DID manufacure discs with fuji DYE, code FUJIFILM03. Got some of these for test directly from Conrexx/ritek ;)

These discs were very good to my experience, but Ritek told me they would stop manufacturing them as the FUJI DYE was too expensive to use compared to their own RitekG05 DYE.

Too expensive that means usually better quality so I'm happy :)

I think actually Ritek manufacturers the media with Fuji DYE, however won't use them since they are much expensive compared with the G04/5 media

Huh, did that mean Prodisc produces for Ritek or Ritek for Prodisc?
