No reviews out yet.  I heard that SpeedLabs got a prototype version in their lab and are working on some tests.  I suspect they'll be 1st with a review.

Yes, SATA. With the new 9xx Intel chipset based mobos it would be great since there only one IDE channel, Primary, and two other but on an IDE controller. So SATA would be great.

Speedlabs.org are in the process of reviewing the Pioneer DVR-110 (not the "D") model, for the next few weeks. We will probably be the first group with the full retail hardware reviewed (rather than the DVR-110D, which lacks DVD-RAM support).

Hey Zebra- Looking forward to the Pioneer DVR-110 review. Can you confirm that this model does exist? Have one in your hot little hands?
Curious as to the DVD-RAM Read/Write (rumoured as 5X) capabilities of this drive.

I just got the 110D from the USA online store newegg it for sure does not burn dvd-ram

A number of people that post on speedlabs now have 110D , the official review is not up yet but there are a few scans like url I posted my own personal scans in.

I think it may be while for new fw , the drive has only been on market for about 3 weeks
1.08 fw is dated 2005/7/20
