have pioneer 106d with latest firmware 106 from pioneer.

anyhow got a few maxells dvd-rw 1.1 thinking that was the new 2x stuff but nero cd/dvd speed shows it at 1x.

so what spec am i looking for 1.1? or is there a 2? as i want 2x -RW

btw, cd/dvd speed says:

so whats up then as the ones that are 2x speed are 1.1 but these maxells write at 1x?

is it the pioneer 16d or the media?

Your Guess is as good as mine but I would think it is the Media !!!
I suggest you try the Ritek I have no problems with them !!!
