hey guys,

im just looking for a cd burning app where i can burn files that are located on another one of the computers on my LAN without having to copy them over. i know recordnow max does it, but that program sucks in all other aspects, any others? nero didnt seem to want to do it.

I know that Padus DIscjuggler can do your job
it has a network console option but i have never use that
you can find padus here

To burn over a network, all you really need to do is map your network drives, and then simply making your compilation like you normally would.

You can try NeroNet as an alternative if you don't want to packet write them which would probably be easiest.

when you say packet write, do you mean by using the windows built in CD burner? I actually had to disable that to get Nero 6 to work at all.

I will check out Padus and NeroNet, thank you for those suggestions.

I actually did get it to work today by trying to map the drive like one user recommended, it did work, but it just copied all the files over to the hard drive during the 'caching' stage. Is this just how Nero does it or is there a way to stop it from doing that?

RecordNowMax, would just burn it right over the network. Too bad that program is really crappy, its rediculous, you cant even edit your compilation beyond the top level of folders (ie. delete one file from the compilation that is in on of the folders)....that is absurdly basic if you ask me....anyways....

I don't think that recordnow is a bad proramme
