Hi to all!

I've got a verry BIG trouble with my Lite-on cdrw writer
LTR-481215S.
It's DEAD! I have flashed a firmware for LTR-52246S - After Reboot This device isn't working at all... In winXP it's not present, so i can't make a firmware downgrade. Please tell me, what should i do?
Is there a chance for reprogramming of firmware by a kind of application, or only service can help me?

Bad move!

You flashed a "6" firmware to a "5" chipset drive.
(The final digit, in Liteon numbering, represents the chipset ... while the S or W are something minor)

Unless a recent version of MTKFlash (with port mode) allows you to force the correct binary to load, you're out of luck

In port mode, make damn sure you know where your drive is set, as you don't want a 200% mortality rate by taking out another drive!
