Hi, recently I brought a nd-3520A burner, I burned a cdrw fine, but after a while something is happen with my drive. When I insert a cd or dvd to burn or erase, the lens cause a strange sound when reads the center of the disc. I disassembled the unit and watched how the lens causes this terrible sound, the lens only not the lens base, runs faster from a side to another one. I dont know what can I do...

I can send the strange sound vie email if this will be useful.

I changed the firmware, but it seems to be equal.

Thanks

I already know, sounds like when one it tries to stop a cpu fan in movement with a pencil. Inside of the superior part of the unit, it seemed that it needs a piece. If somebody has a unit and it can review it, please reply.
