is ther some one ho knows when a review on pioneer 109 comes out?

i nead a drive that is not so sensitive on media and especially important for me is the suport for dvd-r format because my x-box dont like dvd+r

which do you believe is the best drive?
pio 109 vs nec 3520a vs plextor 716

I can wait... I've been waiting for months. If the reviews go well... i'm going to get this... my first dvd burner.. i can't wait.

All I know is that the performance of the Plextor 716 is too good, so if you need something quick go for the Plextor.

it souds nice that the review on the pio 109 son is out.
Than hopefully i can choose which burner to get.

I believe that in the end it will stand between the
plextor or pioneer 109 for me. what I have heard is that nec 3520 has little more problems
than the other two

Cannot Wait, with the Pioneer 109 Selling at under $121 at Computer markets in Australia OEM. I cannot see a better choice.
Have installed one already for a Friend, and now own a Pioneer 108...Superb.

just wondering if or should i say when some new firmwares come out for the pioneer 109 will it correct these issues?

correct if i'm wrong but is a new firmware for the pioneer 109 already?

Yes Pioneer has a long way to go with releasing new firmwares, i am sure they will improve quality, as for the slow ripping speed, all Pioneer drives include Riplock, which can be overpassed with a Riplock firmware
