Sandmangp, You should try making your lg drive master of the secondary bus ide and put your hard drive on the primary bus ide as master also. Make sure your hard drive is in dma mode and that you dont run a slave off the same bus ide as your hard drive. Also again make sure your lg drive is in dma mode. Defrag your hard drive, and make sure no other processes are running ie antivirus software etc when you are doing the burn. You should get better results the lg drive has given me no problems and has proved it can burn at the speeds it claims.
