I think its for the best of Plextor to decided NOT to release the drive and have all the negative comments from community, better wait and have from scratch 8X DVD+RW and 2.4X DVD-R DL

I think 8X +RW will come with new firmware upgrade, also we don't have at our labs yet 8X +RW
