In development for nearly five years, Fable is finally finished. Yesterday on its website, developer Lionhead let it be known that Fable has gone gold. This means that the long-awaited RPG is done. There's no more bug testing, no features to add or remove, no more messing around at all. The game is final.
This also essentially guarantees Fable will make its September 14 release date. So go ahead, start to celebrate. No, really, go have some non-alcoholic beer right now. Take a sip for the gold announcement and one for the hommies that never lived to see its release.
