Anyone know who the true makers of their cd burners are more specifically their 24x? I know a lot of companies just put their label on an OEM burner made from another company which I'm sure are what these three do (i.e. CenDyne actually sells Lite-on drives). I would appreciate any help!!!

Either Liteon or BTC . My friend got a Hival and it was a BTC . I would say Cendyne and Buslink are the best bets to get a Liteon . But you might get a liteon in the I/O or Digital box , just have to try and see . I think Liteon Drives are made in taiwan so it might say that somewhere on the box and also if it says smart burn on there somewhere thats a good indication that its a liteon .
