Hi there.

I'm having problems with my HP writer when recording 80 min cds. I can't record a cd with more than 690 megs! According to HP, the drive can only write up to 78 min 30 secs.

Is there any way I can get around this problem? Any firmware upgrade? Any overclock that can help?

If so could you tell what soft/firmware to use, and where I can find it.

Have Hp8100series 4x2x24.
Use to have the same problem
After upgraded with a hacked bios it can burn 700M
