welder1956 -> How do you find the max speed of a "music" cd? (11/25/2001 10:04:01 AM)

I was recently given a box of Maxell CD-R Music 80 disks. Nowhere on these things can I find the maximum speed. Should I just set my software to "max" or not?
I just wanted plain ol' generics or something. Any thoughts?

I don't believe there is a way. But like said in other post if you have a liteon24x you can burn anything at it 24 with out a
problem. I just used a 6x cdr at 24x without a problem. Just something to thing about...

I'm running a Plextor 12/10/32 so I think I'm in pretty good shape...I guess I'll just gamble. That's how I've learned most of what I know anyway!
Thanks, man.
