hi
can i use "nero 7" and "anydvd" to backup my pc games or is this decryptor just for video?

mostly pc games, i just wondered if anydvd could remove the protection like it does with dvds.

No, it is not for games.

It works for DVD's and Protected Audio CD's.

stryder39 m8...here it is short and sweet part :

DVD's and Protected Audio CD's = DVDFab Platinum / AnyDVD
Protected Games = Alcohol 120 % / CloneCD / BlindWrite

For the games i prefer like the staff at CDRInfo Alcohol 120 %...its the most powerful but others are not bad too...and for the long and bitter part there's a little question can your burner burn a working backup of your game...take a peek at this site's optical storage hardware reviews Protected Disc Tests...and for beyond that see http://www.cdrinfo.com/forum/tm.asp?m=121216 [sm=10.gif]

Usually with most recent games you cannot make accurate backups, so the noCD/DVD patches are needed[:)]

This is all true. For copying PC Games it would depend on the copy protections, but there is software available. I am not sure what protections there are on your games, but even the newer ones can be bypassed. There is a site that reviews software and shows the capabilities of each program specific to Copy Games. Keep in mind though it is not legal to copy games you do not own. With that in mind i wish you good luck and I hope you find what your looking for.
