Yeah, I read some of the reviews.... some people should "ACTUALLY GO THROUGH THE SOFTWARE" before they post that this doesn't work, or why isn't this option available, because EVERY ONE I READ you can set.... you just need to know where to set it at!

Zebadee -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (10/31/2005 6:25:26 PM)

Hi [:)]
I've just seen the above post along with posts in other forums.
All I can say is it works for me as an update.
I did not get it from the link I posted, but put that link as it's supposed to be easier/quicker to d/l (100Mbs)
This is the link I used http://www.majorgeeks.com/Nero_Burning_Rom_d2228.html
also to be found here: ftp://ftp.nero.com/software/nero7/

Great news that Nero AG finally released the demo, but it looks like they have not provided an option to buy yet.  I would have expected that they did this at the same time.  Is the single file all inclusive @ approx. 100MB or something?  Wow, that is a big file and unless they add capacity to their FTP site, will likely be hard to download when the the product does become available.

Hi [:)]
For those who are still having problems. Try
http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-up.php
I think you'll also find that Nero 7 is now available on line.

lgmayka -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/7/2005 8:23:39 PM)

The "Nero 7 Update" on Nero's Web site is not an update at all.  It is an entirely new version (7.0.1.2) which demands that I totally uninstall the existing Nero 7 Ultra (7.0.0.0) that I already purchased and installed.

Nero is definitely starting out its new edition on the wrong foot.

Zebadee -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/8/2005 2:12:15 PM)

Hi [:)]
I have complete retail package of Nero 7 installed on my pc. When I d/l from the above official link Nero 7 Demo & then ran install. Nero picked up serial & performed an upgrade from 7.0.0.0 to 7.0.1.2.
I'm in the UK so have European version. I don't know if that makes any difference. Also not seen anybody else report this problem.

MP3Mogul -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/8/2005 4:45:04 PM)

Mine did an update as well, and I had the retail 7.0.0 pior to install, no problems updating here!

Antonio -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/9/2005 2:29:28 AM)

I installed only the 7.0.1.2 demo and with the original serial is now ok.[:)]

tqhoang -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/9/2005 8:06:53 AM)

Sorry for going off topic, but is Nero 7 pretty stable?  I haven't made the jump yet.

Also I see that it supports Blu-Ray writers, but does it support editing of HD mpeg re-authoring/editing?  Also anyone know if it will support HD-DVD writers too?

MP3Mogul -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/9/2005 8:09:49 AM)

I am starting to have some problems since updating, Nero 7.0.0 was fine, but now I'm beginning to experience a few problems.  This is by no means a reason not to upgrade to Nero 7.  As you know, Nero regularly releases updates/fixes to their software.

Dimitris32 -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/10/2005 8:03:23 PM)

Anyone knows if there is a way/link to download just the Nero Burning ROM software, without all the other programs (which I do not need)?  It's no good having to download 100MB for every new Nero version...

SithTracy -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/10/2005 8:20:56 PM)

Wish there was... I liked it better the old way -- download what you want.  I use some of the stuff, but InCD is and always will be garbage.  At least seperate that out.

[:D][:D] (are there not any proper ''lol'' smileys?)...

why?  In the few times I used it, I thought it was OK...

InCD[sm=11.gif] and DirectCD[sm=asthanos.gif] are the anti-christ of computing.  Tons of conflicts, a good portion of lost data.  I trusted it once and I am not afraid to admit I was wrong.  Packet writing is simply not reliable[:(].

Zebadee -> RE: Nero 7 Demo/Update (11/11/2005 12:49:41 AM)

Hi [:)]
Nero accepts bugs still in 7. Update early Dec. This includes a Demo fix that some are experiencing.
