Thanks for your prompt reply, actually I have a device (not a pc) with a VGA port or exit (I know these words in french not in english), so I want to display its content in a pc with monitor.
Thanks again.

Is it a VGA output or a Video, like any of those two below:

If it is a normal VGA then why don't you connect it straight to your monitor? Otherwise you need a VGA card with a VGA input, is there any?

It has a normal vga output. I'd like to display its content in a monitor but through a pc (maybe I should use a special cable or some soft I don't have an idea), I can't feel myself clear but this is exactly what I need.
Many thanks.

if i get it right, you will need to buy a capture card with Analog RGB input through DSUB-15. This is a normal VGA input, that can be connected to any normal VGA output, and display it on your PC monitors.

In other words, the video signal passes through the Analog RGB input , though your PC, through your VGA card and on your monitor... You can also capure video to your hard disk with this card...

here are some links for this:

An alternative method is to check if you have a S-Video and Composite input on your PC (this card has:,

and buy a VGA to s-video converter (

Hope i helped!!

Thanks a lot eleajar, that seems to be what I'm looking for, but as I said the VGA output in my pc I want it for the monitor.
I want all the three devices to be connected : pc, monitor, and the third device with the vga output.
Thanks again.
