WinThusiast -> Keyboard With Integrated Scanner: KeyScan KS810 And KS811 ! (2/16/2005 9:37:42 PM)

I am not sure why this would be useful, but KeyScan integrated a color scanner in a Keyboard.

The KeyScan KS810 features a 600dpi color scanner. The KeyScan scanner software supports direct scanning of business cards, photos, a newspaper clip, a bank note, a form or any other document. It supposedly automatically adjusts the scale for each document type. The KeyScan KS811 keyboard features besides a color scanner also a fingerprint and smart-card authentication system for secure access.

KeyScan will show both Scanner Keyboards at the CeBIT 2005 in Hanover (March 10-16th).

More details on KeyScan's site.

i've been thinking about it all day and i think i got it...
imagine yourself chatting to someone and you want to show em lots of pictures... well this keyboard makes it really easy to scan lots of stuff without moving away from the your desk.

wait a minute! u would have prolly made the pics with a digital camera so you would have the pics already in a suitable format... and why would you meed to move away from your desk when scanners have become so small you can keep on your desk? so this post is useless, but not more so than this keyboard.
