The Chaintech AE6800 Apogee was clearly the outright winner in our benchmarks with a distinct advantage over both the reference GeForce 6800 and a GeForce 6600 GT. There is also no doubting its quality; the card was as silent as one could wish for and there were no heat issues here due to its Arctic Cooling enhanced cooler, even with its default higher than normal frequencies. Our overclocking trials were also equally positive, with results that came close to a GeForce 6800 GT. If all that was not persuasive enough, Chaintech dares you to say otherwise with a giant of a box filled with extras...
