?For the user looking to harness the power of DDR3 and achieve higher performance but not the extreme price tag, then today's PNY XLR8 4GB DDR3-1600 CL8 modules may very well be a great choice. We?re looking at a set of memory that promises great overclocking and sleek aesthetics for a great price. Backed by PNY's strong product history and lifetime warranty, the XLR8 (read "accelerate?, get it?) performance memory might be something right up your enthusiast alley.?

?Disk storage can be attached to a server in a couple of ways, either directly (internally or externally) or via a dedicated Storage Area Network (SAN). Traditional SAN technology uses Fibre Channel hardware to link servers and storage together but in recent years there?s been a move to cheaper commodity Ethernet to provide the infrastructure, running a protocol called iSCSI―collectively, known as an IP SAN. On the downside SAN storage can be both expensive and difficult to manage, issues Data Robotics is claiming to address with the latest member of its Drobo storage family, the DroboElite.?

"As part of Pioneer's new audition series, the NAS3 represents the company's no-compromise attitude toward digital music playback. Outfitted with a rigid cabinet, premium finish, powerful amplifiers, proprietary drivers and Bluetooth wireless capability, the NAS3 seems to have what it takes to compete with some of the more esoteric of the high-end iPod speaker docks available today. In this review we put the NAS3 through its paces to see how its performance stacks up next to the competition."

"It has been four and a half years since the original Xbox 360 was released on November 22, 2005. New bundles have come out, hard drives for consoles have jumped in capacity exponentially, and there is even a black model of the 360 out there, but at its core the console has remained the same in terms of design."

Digital cameras have become the norm for almost all home consumers. While most of us do not have $2500 to drop on a Cannon EOS 5D DSLR, we can afford something better than the cameras built into our phones. Geeks offers cheap digital cameras so, today we are reviewing the Kodak M341

Some computer enthusiasts have toyed with the idea of using laptop hard drives in their desktop PC. Because of their lower noise and heat, they are perfect for small builds, home theater PCs (HTPCs), or any other computer appliance where silence is golden. I've even known people who set up 2.5" hard drives in a RAID array so they perform faster than a traditional hard drive, yet are practically silent. You may even have just a buttload of laptop hard drives laying around and want to get some use out of them. Regardless of your reasons, placing a 2.5-inch hard drive into a desktop PC requires some special mounting hardware and interface adapters What if there was some hard drive enclosure that allowed you to not only easily use laptop drives in your rig, but allowed for hot-swapping as well? Well iStar USA has you covered with their BPU-2535V2 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch hard drive enclosure.

"As more people incorporate media centre PCs in their households, portable, wireless control of these media systems is becoming more and more important. However, often times these wireless peripherals are a little bulky or you need seperate mice and keyboards. Today though we're taking a look a product known as the iPazzPort which encorporates a full QWERTY keyboard including function keys and keypad, along with a fancy touch pad mouse control. "

Splitting the difference. Satisfying the niche. Exploiting an opportunity. All of those phrases could be used to accurately describe what HP has done here with the new EliteBook 8440w. It's one of the smaller options in the expanding EliteBook family, yet also one of the most powerful. That's not a combination you hear of very often. In most circumstances, you'll need a larger machine in order to accommodate more powerful components within, mostly because the more powerful components emit more heat than the lower-end components. Hewlett-Packard, however, has managed to get a Core i7 Mobile processor within the frame of a 14" notebook and still keep the heat under control. What we're left with is an extremely unique machine that has fewer competitive alternatives...

Ah, the good ol' Shuttle PC. First launched almost a decade ago in the form of the SV24, the now-familiar form factor continues to offer today's latest technologies in an all-round smaller desktop package. The latest iteration - the XPC Barebone SX58J3 - follows that trend and becomes the most powerful air-cooled Shuttle XPC to date. Sold as a barebones unit, the £440 SX58J3 is essentially just a chassis fitted with a power supply and a motherboard, but what's interesting here is that Shuttle offers official support for Intel's latest desktop processors - including the wicked-fast Core i7 980X - and there's room for a high-end graphics card...or two. Hexa-core processing and a proper gaming GPU on Intel's extreme X58 chipset, all in a 330mm x 215mm x 190mm form factor? Sounds like a space-saving powerhouse or the ultimate LAN-going gaming rig.

"Now that both ATI and Nvidia have had their new top of the range models on the markets for a while, it's time to wait and see what kind of version the card manufacturers come up with. This time we give a look at a new contestant from the green camp - please welcome the Gainward GTX 470 Golden Sample - GOOD."

"Today it is the turn of the 15" Inspiron to receive a refresh, moving to the Intel Core i3 / Core i5 platform and adding DirectX 11 support. Here at HardwareHeaven we have one of the first samples on our test bench and will run it through a selection of real word gaming, media and productivity tests to establish how well it performs."

?Up until this point the solid state drives we have looked at have been limited to the SATA 3Gbps standard. While solid state drives are still much faster than normal hard drives we haven?t been able to really push them to their limits. There is where SATA 6Gbps comes in; basically you are getting 2X the speed of SATA 3Gbps. We have already seen ASUS and Gigabyte make SATA 6Gbps standard on some of their motherboards and I?m sure others will follow. Crucial is the first to come out with a SATA 6Gbps solid state drive. The drive is the C300 and it features the new Marvell 88SS9174-BJP2 Solid State Drive controller and boasts speeds of 355MB/s read and 215MB/s write. This drive also is one of the first to use ONFI 2.1 synchronous NAND flash. Read on as we test one of the fastest solid state hard drives available!"

The thing about Coolermaster and their engineers is they never seem to be at rest. To enhance on the features that made the HAF 932 famous Coolermaster has hit the market with the HAF X. The newest offering from the High Air Flow series is bigger (slightly), better and heavier than the HAF 932. Does that transform into another hit for Coolermaster? From the reactions to the press release on the case the answer to that question is a huge yes. Like the HAF 932, the HAF X displays the same rugged style that gamers have come to love. The industrial look even appealing to me as much as I love the fine tuned lines of the ATCS 840 is awesome to look at. Offering more than looks the HAF X has features that the HAF 932 can only dream of. How do two HDD docks sound? How about USB 3.0 in the front display? Or nine expansion slots in the rear of the case to support triple GPU cards? Yeah, all this and more is what the HAF X is about. Lets read on.

PC video games are still the best way to experience realistic effects and immerse yourself in the battle. Consoles do their part, but only high-precision video cards offer the sharp clarity and definition needed to enjoy detailed graphics. Armed with Voltage Tweak functionality, the ASUS GeForce GTX 465 delivers a healthy helping of graphical power at an affordable price. The ENGTX465/2DI/1GD5 model has plenty of headroom for overclockers to drive out additional FPS performance, while keeping temperatures cool. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the ASUS ENGTX465 against some of the best video cards within the price segment by using several of the most demanding PC video game titles and benchmark software available: Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2, Resident Evil 5, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Metro 2033, and BattleForge.

Walton Chaintech, a company which manufactures lots of products like SSDs, Memory Modules, Memory Cards and Graphics Cards, does also produce Flash Drives. The AstroDrive 266X I have received for review is the smallest in the series, maroon colored. The flash drive has very good performances right out of the box, but Walton Chaintech also included a special utility on the drive to boost the performance even more.
