"Today I?m looking at the new Agility Series of SSD Drives from OCZ Technology, specifically their 60gb capacity model. The Agility Series is the middle of the road product line, between the budget style and the high performance style, they?re sold as a ?mainstream drive?, or something for someone who wants good performance but yet wants a lower priced drive than other SSDs out there today. I?ve put the OCZ Agility Series SSD up against a few other drives including another SSD for testing and comparison, so read on to see how it performs? "

?Gaming grade peripherals have always been the cr?me de la cr?me when it comes to mice, keyboards, etc. But is there that much of a difference to be had between different peripheral manufacturers? There are a few things which are apparent even before testing ? aesthetics and price. So let?s take a look at one competitor, the OCZ Behemoth.?

Gone are the dimples that were pressed into the fins in the previous Vendetta coolers, this time the fins are plain and smooth. Rather strangely the aluminium base around the heatpipes has 6 columns that extend up and have three fins attached to them. I can only assume this is to give more supporting structure to the cooler as I doubt it would make much difference in temperatures.

Well, I guess we should be asking OCZ that question. It is funny that the minds of OCZ could come up with a twist on something so simple and common. The OCZ Throttle takes the newest and fastest port on the PC and makes it usable for small portable storage. You know the port we are talking about?eSATA. The Throttle is offered in sizes ranging from 8 gigs up to 32.

The latest offering to land on the HotHardware test bench is the OCZ Apex Series SATA II SSD. Like OCZ's previous solid state drives, the Apex series fits in a standard 2.5" form factor, but changes to some components and the internal configuration of the drive make the Apex series much more appealing. Come on by the site and check it out...

The OCZ 2GB Diesel USB 2.0 Flash drive is a decent little device as long as you aren't looking for blistering fast transfer rates. The Diesel should be fast enough for mainstream use or for those that don't do a whole lot of file transfers. If you only use a USB 2.0 Flash drive to back data up or to move files around when needed the Diesel should be perfect. The OCZ Diesel also has a slick looking appearance and is certainly not bad looking by any means...

Last month we looked at the OCZ Fatal1ty 700W which performed very well and was another nice power supply from OCZ Technology, the company that also owns PC Power & Cooling. Another one of their power supplies to have been introduced in the past few months is the ModXStream-Pro 600W. Unlike the Fatal1ty series, the ModXStream Pro series has modular cables and a few other differences, while still being 80+ Certified, NVIDIA SLI Certified, and is backed by OCZ's excellent PowerSwap warranty. In this review we are testing out the OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W for ourselves.

For better or for worse, OCZ has always been one of the more adventurous companies to service the needs of the enthusiast. While other companies focused solely on producing memory, OCZ had already begun their simple forays into cooling, and power supplies. Today, their lines extend out to a few, slightly more exotic locations, namely pre-built phase change cooling, and even a neural interfacing device. Yet, as with any company that does not specialize in these exploratory fields, OCZ's alternate products remain a niche interest. In this spirit, we're looking at their HydroFlow waterblock - the company's first step towards a performance liquid cooling solution. If OCZ's reputation as a memory manufacturer has anything to do with this little waterblock, then there's plenty in store for us. Let's get wet, intrepid readers.

Like its predecessors, the Core and Solid series, OCZ continues to make SSDs as an alternative to traditional hard drives in consumer-targeted mobile applications. The Vertex series will not replace any of the company's existing series of SSD's but will complement them at the higher end of the performance spectrum. Ideal for laptops and desktops alike, the Vertex is a premium choice for energy-efficient mobile computing to extend battery life, increase access time, and provide a durable alternative to conventional hard disc drives with shock resistance. The downside is still cost versus capacity: the range starts at just 30GB (99) and maxes out at 250GB (599). Compared to a regular hard disk drive - which can be purchased for under 100 with a capacity of at least 1TB - you'll have to think long and hard about justifying the outlandish expense. If you're building a cutting-edge super computer or are just a performance junkie wanting unmatched response and speed, get your credit card ready.

Lower power consumption and heat output are the least impressive benefits of Solid State Drives. The real payoff is in the practically instant response time and high-performance throughput. Once SSDs could outperform their HDD counterpart, it was all about price and capacity. Adding up to 64MB of Elpida DRAM to the buffer has permanently solved stuttering problems, making raw performance the last bottleneck. An Indilinx 'Barefoot' internal controller commands the bank of Samsung K9HCG08U1M DRAM modules, allowing the OCZ Vertex Series SSD to offer an impressive capacity with unmatched performance. Benchmark Reviews tests the reaction time and bandwidth performance for the OCZSSD2-1VTX120G against over two dozen other products in this article.

Today we're looking at a set OCZ Platinum 6GB triple channel DDR3-1600 modules, sticks that appear to offer great aesthetics at a great price. But what about performance? We think Performance is King, so we'll see if the missing link in the equation here is indeed missing or not with these OCZ Platinum sticks.

System memory is one of the most over-looked hardware components in computer systems, and with applications demanding greater memory overhead it is best to use as much memory as allowed. But not all memory is made the same; and even memory of the same speed can have different consumer targets. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the performance of an entry-level triple-channel product for the Intel Core i7 platform. The OCZ 6GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory kit OCZ3P1333LV6GK will be compared against several other products and benchmarked for bandwidth and gaming performance. Are the higher speeds worth the money, or can this memory kit overclock to their level?
