"The specs on the camera are quite impressive with a 1/4? Megapixel Progressive CMOS sensor that has 5-meter IR illumination distance, Infrared-Cut Removable (ICR) Filter module, Passive Infra-Red (PIR) and an aperture of F1.9. Of course the camera is only as good as its software. Today we focus in on whether the Cloud Camera 5000 is the total package or lacking in one or more areas. "

D-Link's DGL-4500 wireless router brings a lot to the table, including dual-band operation, 802.11n support, a killer built-in OLED screen, on top of features perfectly suited for online gamers. Of course, such a feature-packed router doesn't come cheap, so is it worth your hard-earned $180?

D-Link delivers a low cost NAS appliance with a fair turn of speed and a reasonable set of features although we do have concerns over compatibility issues with some SATA hard disks.

The D-Link ANT24-0230 is an external antenna that replaces the stubbies that come stock with your DIR-655 (or DIR-660 & DIR-625) router. It is also compatible with the DWA-552, DWA-556 & DWA-542 desktop adapters. The ANT24-0230 allows you to extend your antenna away from the router or desktop adapter, providing you with more flexible placement options. This should, in theory, allow you to get better signal quality by allowing you to pick a better spot for your antennas.

D-Link's DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router gives us plenty of bandwidth with a built in four port Gigabit switch on the wired side and Draft N wireless capability up to 300 Mbps. They say this is 14x faster than 802.11 G, but by my math, it should only be 5.5x faster (300 / 54?anyways). It also boasts improved range, up to 6X more range, than regular D-Link 802.11g routers. Getting this range requires the use of one of their Xtreme N wireless adapters, so no Xtreme N on both ends, no Xtreme N range.

Wireless N is the new emerging standard in wireless networking, which provides greater range over a longer distance and extreme speed. Today at Benchmark Reviews we have the new D-Link DWA-652 Xtreme N wireless notebook adapter for testing purposes. Let us find out if the DWA-652 delivers performance as promised.

The DES-1008P extends D-Link's range of scalable PoE switches, which cater for VoIP and WLAN users, without the hassle of additional power adapters, cords or AC outlets. As well as being very simple to set-up, the DES-1008P provides a cost-effective entry-level solution for small businesses wishing to make the most of their network. You must remember that it's an entry-level product though, so there are no management tools that provide browser access to PoE settings. You should also consider Netgear's 8-Port Fast Ethernet Switch (FS108P), which is very similar in terms of cost but comes with a lifetime warranty and, in our opinion, better support.

Most starter kits don't offer big savings as after shopping around we found we could buy both components separately for about £9 more than the cost of the kit. Nevertheless, this partnership is very easy to install and use, offers a comparatively good range of features and is future proofed by D-Link's enormous guarantee.

Benchmark Reviews has been lucky enough to receive the D-Link DNS-323. I won't leave much room for surprise: this SATA RAID Gigabit NAS is one hot little number, with plenty of features and performance available at an incredibly affordable price. Are you looking to compare network attached storage devices, or ready to buy? You had better read about the DNS-323 before you make that decision!

Draft N is all the buzz around the WiFi circles, and manufacturers are pushing their early products onto store shelves dispite the constant technical changes to the new unapproved draft. Although early product relases incorporating the 802.11n draft 1.0 were first seen in 2006, they did not seem to win over critics' opinion because of poor performance. The D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router is a draft 802.11n compliant device which claims to be up to 14x faster and have 6x the range of 802.11g while staying backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b devices.

The majority of budget priced broadband routers provide a basic level of firewall protection but for many small to medium businesses this isn't enough. They want features such as a high throughput firewall they can customize for business use, and not games, plus VPN termination along with traffic management and user authentication as well. D-Link's latest DFL-210 aims to offer these features and more and all at an affordable price.

There's something to be said for convenient, mappable network storage. NAS not only offers an affordable way to keep your data safe, but also a handy way to share all your "stuff". As our review states, this name branded BYOD NAS box delivers on all fronts.

If you're looking for Draft 802.11n speeds (naturally, D-Link recommends that you pair the DIR-655 with its Xtreme N Notebook Adapter performance) and greater coverage for your entire home or small office, D-Link's DIR-655 should be at the top of your list. Draft 802.11n isn't a great leap in performance though, and in out tests we could only manage a wireless speed (from a Draft 802.11n-enabled laptop) of 48.9Mbit/s from 6-feet away. Moving the laptop two rooms down our office resulted in a drop of speed to 27.5 Mbit/s. Nevertheless the DIR-655 sports a raft of configuration options, has a configurable QoS engine, and the extensive list of preconfigured applications in the port forwarding setup are greatly appreciated. And now it even has Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. Highly recommended.

D-Links' Network Storage Enclosure offers an extremely powerful and flexible solution for storing and sharing digital media across the home or office network or across the Internet. It addresses the growing market need to store an ever-increasing amount of data in the home or business, while offering built-in protection to keep valuable data, photos, videos and other important files intact. If anything bad can be levelled at it, you need to run the latest firmware upgrade to iron out a few bugs, and it runs a little hotter then we'd like.
