Recording Tests

Before starting the recording procedure, we updated our device with the latest available official firmware from Waitec:

DVD Recorder Update:

Download the firmware here.

Unpack the zip file.
Burn the firmware upgrade file as a normal data disc.

1. Switch on the player
2. Open the tray, and put in the disc which contains the firmware upgrade
3. Close the tray
4. On the screen apears the menu
5. Press play on the recorder or on the remote control
6. The update will start automatically and takes about 5 minutes
7. The screen turns black slowly, progressing from top to bottom
8. After the firmware is updated the recorder will restart atomatically.
9. Remove the disc once the recorder restarts
